We were one of the first groups to start out with portraits, and I can definitely say it was intense! For those that don’t know, my group and I had 15 minutes to capture a couple great photos of different models at Bannack (a ghost town in Montana). I think there were about 7 different models and 7 different locations. Brother Miller gave us a run down the day before on positioning the models and what is flattering! It was crazy, but here are some of my shots that I took that I really loved!

I thought this one was actually really creepy. It was a lot darker than right now, and the other night I was editing images and I didn’t want to look at this one because it creeped me out. Amber you did good haha. Dorothy must of helped you….

Way to go on all your portraits Peterson. You have some photos here that are very good. When taking portraits its always important to make sure that the subject is the main focal point. You can achieve this be composition and lighting. Generally try and keep the subjects face well exposed and more important than the background.
